SYNOPSIS

While deployed with British SAS troops in Afghanistan, Captain Finn learns that his sister, who is on holiday in the US with her friends, is missing, possibly kidnapped. With the help of connections within the CIA, he leaves his squad behind and travels to the US to search for her. Upon arrival, he meets with FBI special agent Nico Torres, a diligent crime investigator with a no-nonsense approach. Together, the two men form an unbreakable partnership as they chase the culprits from the forests of New Mexico to the backstreets of Texas.

Finn is a typical SAS soldier who is tasked with missions around the world either alone or as part of a squad of elite special forces soldiers. Across the series Finn interacts with various characters including spies from MI6 and other friendly nations. Not a typical espionage novel, more a blending of combat and undercover spy and espionage activity. Although all the novels are stand-alone, it is advised to read them in order to understand the backstory of some of the SAS and MI6 spy characters.
